Net Capacity Factor = (Net Actual Generation/(Period Hours x Net Maximum Capacity)) x 100
Where Net actual generation (MWh) is the actual number of MWhs generated by
the unit during the period being considered, less any generation (MWh) utilized
for that unit’s station service or auxiliaries; and Net maximum capacity is the gross
maximum capacity less the unit capacity utilized for that unit’s station service or auxiliaries. The gross maximum capacity is the maximum
capacity a unit can sustain over a specified period when not restricted by
seasonal or other de-ratings.
